~DailyDeviants is a sub-community on DeviantART that features unknown deviants (daily) since June of 2005. There was about a 4-5 month period where ~DailyDeviants was inactive, so myself (~ssecret), with the help of ~rakastajatar got some new staff to revive this awesome club. We re-started this club last month, and now we are here to show you all a great showcase of talented deviants that we featured during the month of July!

`katat0nik

There is something about `katat0nik's Art that captures the imagination of anyone who looks at them. With a childlike feel, yet a complexity in her art that expands beyond a childs drawing, shes developed a mystical world of fantasy and twilight. Bright, vibrant colors fill her gallery and with an understanding of her chosen medium, she shows us a world of her creation; one where anything is possible.

~prohoroff
It is always a pleasure to see artists on deviantART who have already developed a style of their own and are taking it to great heights. To me, ~prohoroff's style is whimsical and romantic. The artist seems to be inspired by both cubism and surrealism. As you view the gallery it almost feels like you are looking into dreams, fairytales of a different world where fish can be clouds and horses can fly. What I like most about this gallery is the easy movement in each piece and the color pallet the artist uses. It was very difficult for me to choose only three thumbs to share because every single one is a masterpiece.

~blast3r

Abstract art has always been interesting really. It shows that art can still show depth, color, value, texture, etc., even if it is deprived of a subject that is tangible to the viewer. But when glancing through ~blast3rs gallery, another door is opened that shows a deeper realm from wince he derived his paintings. With a mixture of cool, hot colors, and a contrasting feel, he shares his emotions with us. That is one thing that really attracts me to his art.

*tsheva
:bigthumb36183456:
A member of DeviantART for a little over two years, *tsheva's outstanding and progressing gallery really fascinates me. Her manips show not only strong concepts, but great talent. One of the things that makes her gallery so amazing is her unique and skillfull texture work. She knows how to place textures subtly to set important objects off, and mix textures to add the mood or feeling she wants the piece to have. Do not for get to check out this deviants outstanding and soulful gallery.

~AdoC
~AdoC is one of the most overlooked digital painters of fantasy art on deviantART. With a whopping 128 deviations in his gallery, it's very odd he is so unknown. His overall skill is simply amazing. Be it huge detailed landscapes or anatomy, he executes them perfectly. Apart from all of the above there are more things that make his gallery so satisfying. The realism ~AdoC manages to create and the astounding colours are in one simple word; unique. Please go see for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

`Aegis-Strife

When you first start to wonder off into `Aegis-Strife's gallery, you see something that you wouldnt in a lot of other galleries. He puts so much time and effort into his digital artwork. His unique style sets himself away from the cliche's normally brought to you in photomanipulation. The next time you are looking for something fresh, something lovely, something unique from everything else on DeviantART, just take a great hour looking through his gallery.

Given his small gallery, only means, he shares what feels is the best with all of us. His talent and knowledge of photography is impressive to me. Either doing a portrait of a friend or capaturing life on the street, I'm always interested on what ~gnj feels while snapping the shutter button.

*mickr7an
:bigthumb26654837: :bigthumb33551529: :bigthumb34404430:
*mickr7an has been on deviantART for quite some time. His gallery which is mostly black and white photography, showcases a lot of work he has done in China. The tonal ranges he achieves in his photos are spot on. The varieties of subject matter in his gallery is also quite impressive. These are a few of my personal favourites from his gallery, but I DEFINATELY reccomend you take a look for yourself.

~karllong
:bigthumb33034295: :bigthumb36284439: :bigthumb35414738:
Lately, ~karllong has been experimenting with older/more primitive cameras -- he shows a real understanding of light and photography by overcoming exposure obstacles that arise with these types of cameras. He takes advantage of each camera's quirks and uses them to create images with a whimsical or not of this world feel. Many of his photographs have quite simple compostitons but they are very elegantly done. I eagerly away his new submissions because they're always a surprise. A unique gallery that's definitely worth a look; a real experimental photographer.

On this night
the dead are no longer so.
Charon is retired
and they dance a delirious waltz
through dark city streets.
Partially disembowled,
head to one side
with fleshy tendons on display
and that haunting
anguished groan.
You cannot escape by boat,
the Styx is littered with corpses
and it is impossible to row through
this delicate decay
of pallid skin
and protruding bones.
Dead flesh is numb on the outside
and yet they claw at our boat still.
You turn to me in horror
and catch the steely glint
of my eyes
like pennies.

organic ammonia|
Callous,
I pretend I'm
Grinding enamel.
I know that you are.
To the gallows -
Fan these flames,
Bone and fissures
To let loose a laugh
And end.

he is silent|
He is silent.
Smoke curls from his nostrils.
Eyes slowly wandering,
rest for a moment
on strewn bedclothes,
vagrant pillows.
Bringing the cigarette to his lips,
the scent of sex lingers.
She does not.

Whenever I browse through deviants galleries, I usually find that they are good at only one type of art form. Whether it be photography, literature, digital art or what not, their field usually is never expanded. But, when I came across ~divinedecay's poetry, I had no clue what type of hidden talents she had in store for me. As I watched her longer and longer, it became apparent that she was a lovely photographer as well. If you like either wonderful poetry with a hint of beautiful words, or photography with a touch of brilliance, check out ~divinedecay's gallery. You will be amazed!

With more than passion, !MystWilliams clarifies what it means to construct poetry, rather than simply write it. He takes a masterful grasp of the english language and applies it through beautiful images, fresh concepts, and thought provoking metaphors. Each new submission never fails to exhuberate his keen intellect. He is a kind person, and never fails a reader when it comes to offering quality literature. It is with great honor that !MystWilliams receives this selection from me.

and here the martyrs sleep: I
She watched him work: the careful way he handled the bodies, lines of coke disappearing under dollar bills or pay stubs, the angle of his hat that kept John's disturbing blue-eyed madness out of view. The corpse was still fresh, a dull flush on her red cheeks and the most perfect breasts John had ever seen. He vaguely regretted her murder for it. John laid her across the floor of his apartment, still dressed in a suit, tie, and gloves as if prodding the girl's dormant form was completely normal. The other woman, still very much alive and uneasy about the lack of precautions John was talking, hovered over his shoulder. "Well?" She asked, impat

when i lynched that devil
and all his et ceteras
he gave up on bloom and said
"Damn son, you've got style."
yes sir, i won't deny it--
and oh, that fish on your plate
was once in a sea of words
with so many others
who are negros and whites
that battled across pages and print,
so it's easy to see when you suck
the last tendrils of meat from the bone,
why you ponder its last words
of "wide open beavers."
my sweet old et cetera was never so true,

idle contemplation
melancholy thought.
Sometimes you come across a writer that knows their way around words and has a great sense of what they're writing. As soon as I came across `secondmagpie's gallery, I knew I had found one of those people. It's hard for me to discribe her work, as it is great and speaks for itself. When entering her imagination and style, you feel as if you're there the minute you lay your eyes on the first word through her great imagery and detail to the piece. Someone like this should not be mistaken as "another writer" or someone that doesn't know what they're doing, because from what I've read, `secondmagpie's does. So go check her out! You won't regret it.

~vainas

~vainas's photography and digital art is simply amazing. The use of different lighting and angle techniques makes each deviation truly unique. I am always impressed when ~vainas submits a new deviation, which is always a pleasure to see. There are many words that one can use to define a deviants gallery, but ~vainas's deviations only need one; inspirational.
